Conveyor Orders Increased in December

Conveyor orders for December 2009 increased 19% from December 2008, according to the most recent statistics from the Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA).

CEMA’s booked orders index was up 1% from November 2009.

Shipments in December were up 12% from November 2009, but December 2009 shipments were down 24% from December 2008. Billed sales for December 2009 were down 3% from November 2009.
