Tharo RFID Wizard
Tharo Systems Inc. introduces RFID Wizard, which works with its EasyLabel labeling software to create Electronic Product Code (EPC) and Department of Defense (DoD) smart labels.
RFID projects that do not require the EPC or DoD RFID code can use EasyLabel software to program high-frequency or ultra-high frequency smart labels in a hexadecimal or ASCII format.
Users can choose to import all or part of their RFID data from databases, serial files, user input, existing barcode or text fields and external text files. They can also print RFID data, encoded in the RFID tags, on smart labels as a text or barcode field, according to Tharo. An additional feature is the software’s ability to write and print a report that includes the data used to program the smart labels. The report can then be used as part of an advance shipping notice (ASN) or as a record of labeled items.
