Psion Rugged Device
Psion’s new Workabout Pro 3 rugged handheld device offers four different keyboard layouts and a display that is 25% more efficient than previous Workabout versions, says the company.
The modular device also has twice the RAM and four times more Flash ROM memory than previous versions, Psion adds.
It meets or exceeds the IP65 International Protection Rating and can withstand dust, water and extreme temperatures. The Workabout Pro 3 has been tested to survive six-foot drops onto concrete. Able to handle RFID and biometrics applications, the Workabout Pro 3 is also backwards compatible with other devices in the Workabout Pro line.
