Drive-In Storage Racks

Ridg-U-Rak’s drive-in storage rack system

Ridg-U-Rak’s drive-in storage rack systems store product on continuous rails. Lift trucks directly enter the rack structure to place and retrieve pallets. This design, according to Ridg-U-Rak, requires fewer aisles than conventional racking systems, allowing an operation to increase storage density. The company says its last-in, first-out drive-in systems offer 75% more storage space than conventional storage systems. Ridg-U-Rak also says laboratory testing has verified its systems have the strongest drive-in rails on the market. Top bracing increases column rigidity and rack stability, and support columns are roll-formed. In addition, a powder-coated paint finish boosts impact resistance.
