I.D. Systems’ Vehicle Asset Communicator (VAC) is an intelligent device that provides wireless, automated control and monitoring of industrial vehicles. An integrated micro-computer with configurable firmware accommodates any wireless communication needs. Its rugged construction withstands harsh environmental conditions and all components (antennae, card reader, etc.) are protected inside the VAC. Access control options include proximity card, iButton or keypad. It provides electronic safety checklists via built-in display and keypad and automatically records and uploads/downloads key vehicle/operator data using a wide range of optional sensors (speed/distance, lift weight, impact, etc.)
