Tagsys and Cegid Target RFID Market in Fashion, Specialty Retail
Tagsys, a provider of item-level RFID infrastructure, and French management software provider Cegid have signed a partnership agreement to provide RFID technologies to the fashion and specialty retail industries.
After three years of customer implementations, Tagsys is introducing the “Reliability Guarantee” for fashion and apparel. The company’s Reliability Guarantee is designed to ensure data accuracy and integrity in RFID implementations, not only in logistics operations but also at the store level, according to Tagsys.
“For the past three years, we have been working very closely with Cegid on the fashion and specialty retail market,” says Didier Mattalia, fashion and retail sales manager at Tagsys. “This partnership strengthens our relationship and enables us to offer a truly complete solution to our customers and therefore accelerate RFID adoption in this market.”
