Elite Storage Systems CEO Named Entrepreneur of the Year
BOSTON— Peter Murphy, chairman and CEO of Elite Storage Solutions Inc., has earned the 2009 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in manufacturing and distribution for the New England region.
The Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award honors outstanding entrepreneurs who inspire others with their vision, leadership and achievement. Murphy is eligible to participate in the national awards gala in Palm Springs, Calif., on Nov. 14.
Elite Storage Solutions was recently formed through the merger of Boston Rack International with Base Manufacturing Inc. Newbury Piret & Co., a New England investment banking firm, advised Murphy during the acquisition.
