Just in time for the holidays, Frank Clark, vice president of forklift distributor The Lilly Company, and illustrator Lilly Scheibelhut have produced Frankie Forklift and Friends, a children’s book that revolves around the main character Frankie. It’s anticipated that this will be the first of a series of books that will use the material handling industry as its inspiration for storylines and characters.
Frankie’s First Day at Work, the first book in the series, finds Frankie going to work on his first day, where he works with Tony Towmotor and meets other new friends, such as Petee Pallet and Sally Shrinkwrapper.
There are several lessons taught, such as brush your teet, pick up your toys, do your work right the first time, and always ask your friends for help.
