Workshop Covers Costs/Rates RFP Responses
The International Warehouse Logistics Association (IWLA) will present its workshop February 5-6 in Orlando.
There are four possible outcomes from the RFP process in today’s tough market, says IWLA's Assistant Vice President of Education Linda Wood. Only one is good.
If 3PL bids too high, it can lose the business. Bid too low and it loses money. Bid without facts, says Wood, and it can bankrupt the business. But bid based on knowledge and you make the right decision, she points out.
It is that fact-based pricing that is the focus of the IWLA course Costs/Rates RFP Responses. The course is designed to help identify costs related to logistics operations and how to allocate them across storage, handling and administrative lines.
