StarKist Names DSC Logistics Its Lead Logistics Partner

StarKist Co., a producer, distributor and marketer of shelf-stable seafood products, has named DSC Logistics its lead logistics partner. DSC will be responsible for managing the complete supply chain for StarKist's canned and pouched tuna products, from the products' port of entry to DSC's Logistics Centers, and then to StarKist's customers.

DSC will provide transportation and logistics services from U.S. ports on the East and West Coasts to five of DSC's Logistics Centers. In addition, DSC will operate a centralized distribution center in southern California to serve the five regional logistics centers.

DSC will provide all transportation administration and management services from the five locations to StarKist's customers.
