Transite Releases Quantum
Transite Technology, a provider of logistics and shipping cost-management software and services, has released the Quantum transportation management solution.
Transite’s services include rate negotiations, carrier contract management, shipment rating, freight bill audit, financial reporting and other spend reduction and best practices for less than truckload, truckload, parcel, air, and ocean, says the company. Its flagship technology, My Freight Portal, and Transite’s other technologies are embedded in Transite’s Quantum solution.
In a case study with laminate flooring producer Pergo, Transite says, Quantum helpd Pergo reduce its freight expenses by at least 15% while improving the company’s shipping processes.
Transite’s solution bundled the company’s My Freight Portal technology along with managed services such as carrier agreement negotiation, optimization and automation. While Pergo continued to own the carrier agreements, Transite performed the analysis, created the bids on Transite’s customized rate base, managed the negotiations, and implemented the new pricing with powerful software tools to take advantage of the automated agreements.
