Goya Foods Improve Distribution Efficiency While Lowering Costs

Goya Foods, a Hispanic-owned food company based in New Jersey, has selected supply chain solutions from Manhattan Associates to optimize its distribution and transportation processes.

Goya will implement Manhattan's Warehouse Management Slotting Optimization and Labor Management solutions in 12 distribution centers located in the United States, Puerto Rico and Spain, which will work with solutions from the Manhattan Transportation Lifecycle Management suite to optimize global distribution.

The Manhattan SCOPE portfolio is developed on a supply chain process platform that facilitates the communication of cross-suite applications to address specific supply chain requirements. The solutions selected by Goya Foods are within the Distribution Management and Transportation Lifecycle Management suites and are designed to complete everyday processes from one common interface. These solutions enable collaboration and communication with an extensive network of suppliers and partners inside and outside the distribution center.

The Transportation Lifecycle Management suite of solutions is designed to completely optimize transportation processes to reroute around trouble spots, while precisely coordinating deliveries.
