Axeda Launches SmartLink Platform
Axeda says its SmartLink can track wired and wireless assets anywhere.
Axeda’s SmartLink Platform parlays its remote monitoring and repair expertise to give asset owners the ability to manage, service and track any wired or wireless asset—on any network, anywhere, says the company.
The SmartLink Platform is a communications- and hardware-neutral solution enabling enterprises to connect, manage, service and track wired and wireless assets anywhere, claims Axeda.
The IT platform provides system integrators, manufacturers and developers with the foundation to build and deploy solutions with enterprise level scalability and VeriSign certified security, continues Axeda.
SmartLink has an enterprise-class architecture that is built to support large-scale deployments with large numbers of assets reporting data from sites around the world, says Axeda. It has been demonstrated with transaction rates of more than 100 million data readings per day.
The security strategy includes end-to-end security covering all levels including network, application, user and data security.
