On the occasion of Labor Day, the U.S. unemployment rate is creeping closer to 10 percent, as more and more Americans drain their retirement accounts. If President Obama wants to create jobs, he should spend less, get serious about developing American energy resources and quit appeasing China, suggests economist Peter Morici.
