Credence Systems Selects Choice Logistics
Credence Systems Corp., a global provider of automated test equipment for semiconductor manufacturers, selected Choice Logistics to provide national and international service parts management logistics to support its customer base.
“We are pleased to have the opportunity to serve a forward-thinking company like Credence that seeks to constantly improve its operations to maximize resources,” said Michael Katz, CEO, Choice Logistics. “Credence is dedicated to the success of its customers. By closely collaborating with Credence to fulfill a full range of service part logistics needs, we can assist in the continued delivery of exceptional service. We look forward to a fruitful long-term relationship.”
Choice Logistics will consolidate disparate supply chain systems into a more simplified and efficient system, allowing for more flexible and improved service level agreements (SLAs) for direct parts deployment, it said. Choice will also work with Credence on an ongoing basis to identify the ideal network of stocking locations to strategically position service parts throughout the world.
Credence’s automated test equipment portfolio spans a wide spectrum of sophistication and pricing. Choice will manage more than 20,000 in- and out-bound transactions on a monthly basis, initially from three strategically located stocking centers in San Francisco, Singapore and Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
