Panama Canal Considers a Change in its Pricing Structure
Noting that there is a growing trend in the ocean shipping community to carrying containers on a vessel’s deck, the ACP is speaking with the shipping and maritime community generally and its customers, specifically about restructuring its charges.

The feeling is that a new measurement system will aid ACP in maintaining its record of efficient, safe and reliable transportation while making sure it receives what it calls “fair value for its services.”
Stay tuned. As a decision is made, a formal announcement will be issued.
