Schneider National is Wal-Mart Intermodal Carrier of the Year
For the fourth time in 10 years, Wal-Mart selected Schneider National its intermodal carrier of the year.
Schneider was notified it was selected 2007 intermodal carrier of the year after Wal-Mart Stores Inc. conducted its annual evaluation of trucking and logistics service providers.
The award was begun in 1997 and since then, Schneider National has received the honor three other times (2002, 2003, 2004).
“We consider many factors when determining the winner of this award, including overall dedication to customer service, operational excellence and the ability to offer creative solutions to our complex supply chain opportunities,” said Chris Sultemeir, senior vice president of transportation for Wal-Mart.
