Penske Logistics Opens DC in Brazil to Service Whirlpool Products

Penske Logistics has opened a new 110,000-square-foot factory distribution center in Manaus, Brazil, located near an industrial free trade zone.

Penske Logistics Brazil will store and ship Whirlpool brand air conditioners and microwaves (Cônsul and Brastemp) to the company’s retail customers throughout Brazil. It is Penske’s first time operating in Manaus.

Penske performs warehousing, sequencing, inbound and outbound transportation services across Whirlpool product lines in the U.S. Canada, Mexico and Brazil.

Penske Logistics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Penske Truck Leasing, and provides supply chain management and logistics services to industrial and consumer companies throughout the world.
