DHL Will Spend $35 Million to Boost Hong Kong Operations

To be named the Kowloon South Service Centre, it will supplement the two existing DHL ground-handling facilities that are nearly operating at full capacity. The other facilities are Cheung Sha Wan and the Kowloon West Service Centre in Tsuen Wan.

The Centres run 24 hours and are used to sort and redistribute incoming shipments for delivery to local consignees. They also consolidate outbound shipments that are dispatched to DHL’s Central Asia Hub at the Hong Kong International Airport for uplift to the carrier’s dedicated freighters.
