Kitty Hawk launches Kitty Hawk Ground subsidiary
Kitty Hawk Inc., a provider of guaranteed, scheduled overnight air services, has formed a wholly-owned subsidiary,
Kitty Hawk Ground Inc., to manage its growing scheduled less-than-truckload (LTL) ground network. The new company will be led by Gary Jensen.
The successful launch and initial growth of Kitty Hawk's nationwide airport-to-airport scheduled LTL ground network convinced the parent company that the time was right to transition toward a corporate structure reflecting the significance of the LTL ground network, explains Robert Zoller, president and CEO of Kitty Hawk.
