FedEx Honors Schneider National

FedEx Ground named Schneider National its Carrier of the Year.

In addition to being named carrier of the year by the business-to-business and residential small package delivery arm of FedEx, Schneider National was recognized wit the FedEx Smart Post 100 Percent Service Award. This, says Schneider, acknowledges the carrier's record for on-time delivery during the 2007 fiscal year. FedEx Smart Post offers delivery service for companies seeking to distribute high volumes of materials ot consumers.

“We're very pround that FedEx turns to Schneider National to help keep their strong reputation for delivering packages that absolutely, positiviely have to get there overnight,” siad Dan Van Alstine, SVP and general manager of van/truckload at Schneider.

Schneider Expedited helps FedEx move 3.3 million packages per day as its primary truckload transportation provider. It serves delivery hubs in Chicago, Dallas, California and the southeastern US.
