Andrews Logistics Acquires 40 Peterbilt Trucks
In a move to expand its fleet by nearly 15%, Andrews Logistics Inc. (ALI), a third-party logistics services provider (3PL) has acquired 40 new Peterbilt trucks. The new vehicles feature anti-rollover stability systems and anti-lock brakes, explains J. Darron Eschle, ALI’s CEO.
ALI also purchased 35 single-compartment stainless-steel tank trailers and 45 multi-compartment aluminum tank trailers. The stainless-steel trailers include tandem-axle roll stability support systems, and the aluminum trailers feature full-length overturn protection, anti-lock brakes and anti-rollover stability systems.
The new trucks meet all of the EPA’s 2010 emissions requirements, Eschle notes.
