Mover Handles 850 Tractors - in One Van
All American Moving Services, an agent for Mayflower Transit, moved more than 850 tractors in a shipment that weighted less than 30,000 pounds.
The collection of museum-quality toy tractors and farm equipment included 52 pedal tractors, 800 die-cast miniature tractors, and $500,000 in collectible replica toy tractors and farm equipment.
Meanwhile, MultiTek Strategic Solutions, a sister company of Mayflower Transit, assisted by All-American Relocation in Denver, moved and staged over 2,000 computer parts. The project for Sun Microsystems included de-installing and building more than half a million complex computer parts from several different information technology libraries. The move was scheduled to last three months, with 20 MultiTek technicians working daily on the project.
MultiTek provided teardown and build of 9310, SL8500, SL3000, 9360 and other IT libraries for Sun Microsystems.
