INTTRA Introduces New PC-based Tool for Managing Ocean Shipping
INTTRA (Parsippany, N.J.), developers of an e-commerce platform for the ocean industry, has introduced INTTRA Desktop Shipping Order 1.0, which allows cargo agents to create and submit electronic shipping orders and shipping instructions to carriers using a PC.
" INTTRA recognized that cargo agents needed a desktop application that was simple and intuitive for their employees to use, but also offered the security, reliability, and ease of use that their organizations demand," said Charles Rowe, INTTRA's product manager, desktop solutions. "With INTTRA Desktop Shipping Order 1.0 we have incorporated these customer requirements and created a tool that enables them to use a PC to quickly connect with INTTRA's network of carriers."
The product is available in simplified Chinese and English. It establishes a single, industry standard process to create and submit shipping orders and shipping instructions to multiple carriers in INTTRA's network of ocean carriers, standardizing documentation workflow.
