FexEx Boosts Its Latin American Connections

Including warehousing and offices, the new 145,000 square foot Hub sits on 23 acres at Miami’s International Airport. Additionally, there is a bonded warehouse within the facility with customs clearance agents on–site. There is refrigerated storage space and a 1,000 square foot cooler system.

There will be four daily in and outbound flights to the Hub that has the capability to sort 6,000 packages per hour, 40,000 per day. FedEx notes that countries served from the Miami Hub are Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, The Bahamas, Panama, Ecuador, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Haiti, Jamaica, The Cayman Islands and Belize.
