Maritime Glossary For iPhone

Business related applications for the iPhone get far less press than the latest games and videos, but Coracle has developed an application for transportation and logistics professionals, Its Maritime Glossary is available through iTunes.

The maker says the Maritime Glossary is a fully searchable dictionary. It installs on the iPhone and doesn't require an Internet connection for access. Once installed, it allows users to submit additional terms for inclusion in future releases.

James Tweed, Coracle's founder and managing director, said 'We are working on a range of products for mobile devices and this Maritime Glossary is the first of our iPhone apps.” The glossary application also runs on the iPod Touch.
