AA Cargo Expands International Weight Limits
American Airlines Cargo Division (AA Cargo) has expanded the weight limit for its international Priority Parcel Service (PPS) to provide customers with additional flexibility in shipping heavier, time-sensitive packages. PPS Heavyweight provides a per piece weight limit increase to 100 pounds (46 kilograms) for shipments originating in the United States to all countries worldwide, with the exception of Japan.
For more than 30 years, Priority Parcel Service has provided same-day, counter-to-counter service throughout the United States and many parts of the world. Available through American’s ticket counters, cargo terminals and designated PPS facilities, the product offers flight-specific shipping and highest-priority boarding, with no advanced booking required.
American Airlines Cargo, a division of American Airlines Inc., provides cargo service to major cities in the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Latin America and Asia.
