Choice Logistics Widens Its Reach In BRIC Countries
Choice Logistics, a third-party logistics provider (3PL) specializing in high-tech service parts logistics, has expanded its strategic stocking location (SSL) network in Brazil, Russia, India and China (BRIC). Choice will offer logistics solutions in each country based on its import and export guidelines to support the efficient flow of parts.
The complete breakdown of Choice's SSL expansion efforts in the BRIC countries include:
Brazil: 10% increase in delivery activity from a centralized location in Sao Paolo.
Russia: 66% growth since the third quarter of 2009 with new locations in Moscow, Yekaterinburg and St. Petersburg.
India: 1,500% increase in activity from July 2009 to March 2010 from locations in Bangalore, Bombay (Mumbai), New Delhi and Chennai.
China: 10% increase of deliveries from sites in Guangzhou, Zhengzhou, Chengdu, Yinchuan, Lanzhou, Beijing, Nanning, Shanghai, Shenyang, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Wuhan, Xiamen and Hong Kong.
