Carrefour Deploys In-Store Mobile Computers
European retail giant Carrefour has contracted with Datalogic Mobile for the supply of mobile computers in its retail stores. Datalogic's Memor and Falcon handheld devices will be used for Carrefour's retail in-store solutions.
Datalogic's mobile computers will be used for various applications on the shop floor and in the back room, such as inventory and shelf replenishment, with the aim of reducing error rates significantly as well as providing more mobility inside the store.
Datalogic's solution will now extend to the over 30 countries involved in this collaboration. This, along with Datalogic Scanning's in-store solution using presentation scanners, handheld devices and fixed position scanners, will now cover the entire Carrefour Group chain.
