Tech Gift Furthers RFID Training
Psion’s donation will support a foundation course in the electrical engineering track that is designed to provide fundamentals in RFID technology and its practical application. The course builds technical competency and business awareness of RFID along with preparing students for systems planning and implementation. Psion Teklogix hopes its contribution will help improve data collection through application of innovative technology. The course includes current and developing standards and issues such as security and privacy along with the technical aspects of using RFID in real-world implementations.
