SkyBitz, Iridium GLS
SkyBitz has partnered with Iridium Communications Inc. to develop a two-way, remote asset tracking and monitoring system integrating SkyBitz’s Global Locating System (GLS) with the Iridium 9602 satellite data transceiver.
The global, two-way machine-to-machine (M2M) satellite communications technology allows companies to track trailers and rail, oil, gas and chemical cargo. SkyBitz plans to offer the system as part of its suite of GLS products, which businesses can use to track assets worldwide.
