Tour UPS Worldport Freight Operations

Regulations keep many pharmaceutical executives up at night. UPS employees at the company's Worldport air freight hub in Louisville, Ky., stay up to help make product shipments one less thing to worry about.

UPS invited journalists on a tour of Worldport, one of the largest fully automated package facilities in the world. This operation in Louisville, Ky., turns 130 aircraft a day and processes an average of 1.6 million packages a day. A record 4.2 million packages were processed on Peak Day 2012.
