There are two separate interactive courses offered this year. “Essentials of Warehousing Logistics” will take place from October 25-29. Teaching includes presentations and group exercises covering a gamut of topics, including cost and rate development, technology, law, transportation, insurance and regulatory matters, among others. The course offers presentations by practitioners and group exercises with peers.

“The Advanced Course in Logistics Management” is offered October 26-28. It addresses higher-level matters. Case studies help teach strategic planning. Other topics covered are leadership, business ethics, conflict management, financial statement analysis, and more.

Both courses take place at The Ohio State University at Columbus and are requirements for individuals working toward becoming Certified Logistics Professionals (CLP). Learn more at the Association’s web site, www.iwla.com.
