White-Glove Crossdock Facility Opens for Business
Measuring 120,000 square feet, Home Delivery America says its new crossdock facility in Elmwood Park, N.J., is the largest crossdock facility in the U.S.
Home Delivery America, a third-party supplier to GE, Sears, Home Depot and other white-glove retailers, moves nearly 5,000 pieces of big-ticket merchandise daily through the facility’s 30 bay doors. More than 100 inbound shipments per day arrive at the facility. Within 24 hours, product is staged, inspected and re-loaded onto outbound delivery trucks.
