During his career Dave Blanchard has led the editorial management of many of Penton Media’s best-known brands, including the company’s flagship title, IndustryWeek, as well as Logistics Today (now Material Handling & Logistics), Supply Chain Technology News and Business Finance. With over 25 years of experience, Dave literally wrote the book on supply chain management, Supply Chain Management Best Practices (John Wiley & Sons, 2010), which has been translated into several languages and is currently in its second edition. He is also the supply chain subject matter expert for Penton’s Supply Chain & Manufacturing Group. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University.
