TUSTIN, Calif., – eBusiness Solution Pros, Inc. (eSP), a software provider and IBM iSeries Business Partner, has signed Brussels, Belgium-based ZETES to distribute its recently introduced Stay-Linked™, a real-time enterprise solution that reliably extends applications hosted on the IBM AS/400-iSeries to wireless devices in supply chain, warehouse management, inventory control, and ERP environments. ZETES is a leading European integrator of solutions for automatic identification of goods, authentication of people, and wireless computing.

"As a single-source integrator, with much of our business focused on the AS/400-iSeries platform, we believe that Stay-Linked fits seamlessly into our product line," said Stephane de Jamblinne, ZETES' technology consultant. "Stay-Linked is the only 5250 screen emulation solution for RF wireless devices that runs natively on the AS/400-iSeries, and offering it to our customers provides us with the ability to create a differentiated approach."

According to Patricia Converse, eSP's vice president, sales and marketing, the addition of ZETES is a key component of a global channel strategy that includes U.S. systems integrators Barcoding, Inc., Excalibur Integrated Systems, and Stratix Corp., as well as distributors Avnet Technology Solutions and WAV Wireless Outfitters.

"The endorsement by ZETES validates Stay-Linked on an international level," said Converse. "We look forward to a mutually profitable partnership with ZETES that will capitalize on their strong presence in the European marketplace."

Converse added that eSP will soon expand Stay-Linked support to other host platforms in addition to the AS/400-iSeries, a move that would further benefit ZETES and the other Stay-Linked channel partners.

With Stay-Linked, all terminal emulation software and client device/session control runs on the host platform, which enables optimum availability and productivity. When disruptions in wireless device access occur, Stay-Linked keeps user scanning sessions alive on the host. As soon as wireless access is restored to the device, users are automatically returned to their original scanning session, exactly where they were immediately prior to the disruption.

"The host-based nature of Stay-Linked and the planned multiple-host platform support will make this a very attractive product for the channel," said Julie Fraser, principal and analyst with Industry Directions Inc. "Wireless solutions that leverage host platform reliability can provide a key differentiator for a reseller or a systems integrator."

ZETES' implementations span industrial, transportation, logistics, distribution, healthcare, financial, telecommunications and public services sectors. Its set of supply chain optimization, transactional security, and back-office application integration solutions includes bar code, RF, voice recognition and chip card technologies that are manufactured and personalized in the company's own production unit.
