Marengo, Illinois - Nissan Forklift is pleased to announce the introduction of its next generation of 3-wheel electric lift trucks – the TX Platinum Series. As the newest member of the Platinum product family, the TX continues Nissan’s tradition of offering the “Perfect Balance” of features and benefits that satisfy all stakeholders, including Owner, Operator and the Environment. Available in 3,000, 3,500 and a new 4,000 lb. capacity model, the TX Series has been completely redesigned from the ground up, and features a 100% ACpowered system. Brushless, dual drive motors and a hydraulic pump motor reduce the number of serviceable parts and their associated expenses, keeping your overall operating costs lower. Its regenerative braking, automatic deceleration and on-demand power steering promote energyefficiency – to help keep the TX Series out on the floor, rather than the charging bay.

The TX Series offers an array of operator conveniences for enhanced comfort and increased productivity, including a full suspension seat with weight adjustment, generous leg and foot room, deck-mounted hydraulic controls, and a more responsive steering system. An adjustable armrest with fingertip control hydraulics can be ordered as an option, and is available with
Nissan’s exclusive single lift/tilt lever design, resulting in enhanced ergonomics, further improving productivity.

The TX Series’ AC TECH controller works in conjunction with a built-in self-diagnostics module and multi-function LCD display to simplify troubleshooting, as well as provide storage and retrieval of service history.

A four-digit PIN offers access to adjustable performance settings, allowing up to 5 unique operational profiles that can be tailored according to driver experience and load handling conditions.

Some additional standard features of the TX Platinum Series include:

  • Fully-enclosed, six-disk wet type brake system
  • Risk Reduction System including seat-actuated power-interrupt system (auto-mast lock & return to neutral), automatic deceleration (cornering), lift speed control and controlled descent (reduced rollback)
  • Adjustable steering wheel with optional higher steering column
  • Four-piece reinforced overhead guard design
  • Operator conveniences including audible back-up warning, two side mirrors, rear combination lights and rear work light
  • Dual rear steer tire for enhanced stability and load capacity

With optional features such as:

  • Freezer package for operating environments as low as -31ºF (-35ºC)
  • Nissan exclusive three-stage Optiview mast
  • Battery rollers
  • Dual solid pneumatic steer tires
  • Low overhead guard
  • Battery compartment rollers
  • Strobe lights and rotating beacons

With so many new features and benefits, this addition to Nissan’s family of high quality material handling equipment will strike a “Perfect Balance” in any operation.
