TWINSBURG, OH – Pepperl+Fuchs introduces the Tru-Vue series photoelectric sensors. These compact, low-cost sensors feature versatile side-mount or snout-mount options to satisfy various application needs and highly visible 360° LED indicators for status indication in all directions and from poor vantage points.

Tru-Vue sensors are well suited for material handling, conveyor and assembly applications. These sensors can be surface mounted or mounted like 18mm cylindrical sensors by the threaded nose. Additionally their compact housing and small 29mm housing depth make them flexible enough to be mounted where conventional 18mm cylindrical sensors cannot. Enhanced status LEDs provide diagnostic functions beyond just power and output status.

Available sensing modes include diffused, polarized retro-reflective, and non-polarized retro-reflective. Five electrical connection options are available, including cabled, and both pig-tailed and integral connector types. Standard versions have sensitivity adjustments, but tamper proof models are also available to eliminate adjustments by unauthorized personnel.

Pepperl+Fuchs is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation products and services. Pepperl+Fuchs pioneered the development of proximity sensors 45 years ago, and has set the standard for innovation and quality ever since.
