Toyota Material Handling Announces Food Drive, Contest Winner

Toyota Material Handling USA Inc. (TMHU) announces it has donated more than three tons of food and goods to food banks in Orange County, Calif., and Columbus, Ind., in the spirit of the season.

This year, Irvine, Calif.-based TMHU associates/contractors contributed 2,671 pounds of food to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County. Columbus, Ind.-based TMHU associates/contractors donated 3,401 pounds of food to the Love Chapel of Columbus, which provides basic amenities to people in the community. TMHU also donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

In addition, TMHU announced the winner of its electronic holiday card contest. Melanie Pearlman, 12-year-old daughter of TMHU associate David Pearlman from Fountain Valley, Calif, won the award for her coloring rendition of a Toyota lift truck helping Santa transport presents. The holiday card was distributed nationwide to TMHU customers, suppliers and associates.
