Toyota Announces Management Changes

Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A. Inc (TMHU) announced several key management changes. Bob Bosworth has been promoted to national dealer sales manager and Brett Wood has been named national product planning and marketing services manager. In conjunction with these changes, Bill Porento assumes the position of vice president of service, parts, training and customer satisfaction, and will now be responsible for TMHU's new customer satisfaction survey system. In addition, Jim McManus assumes the title of vice president of sales and dealer development/market representation.

Bosworth is responsible for dealer sales and oversees six U.S. territory sales managers. Bosworth began his 13-year tenure at TMHU as a territory manager in Dallas, Texas, and has held the positions of national account sales manager, dealer sales manager and now, national dealer sales manager.

Wood, a TMHU associate for 13 years, will continue to maintain the responsibilities of his prior position, national product planning and applications manager, and also will assume the added responsibility of overseeing all marketing functions. His combined responsibilities now include assessing the trends and requirements of the lift truck market and material handling industry; developing Toyota products that meet the needs of U.S. lift truck users; and overseeing marketing strategies to support the growth of the Toyota lift truck brand.

TMHU was established in 1967; its headquarters is in Irvine, Calif. The company offers a full line of high-quality lift trucks sold under the Toyota Industrial Equipment brand. Most of the Toyota lift trucks sold in the United States are assembled by Toyota Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Inc. in Columbus, Ind.
