Cogiscan is pleased to announce the introduction of a new RFID Smart Feeder retrofit kit compatible with SIPLACE® feeders and placement machines. The Cogiscan RFID Smart Feeder kit can be quickly installed on any machine in the field for models S, F, HS, HF and C-series. The customer’s inventory of feeders can be converted to “smart” feeders by simply adding a low-cost RFID tag to each feeder. An RF antenna and reader is mounted on each machine feeder bank (changeover table) and/or feeder storage cart to automatically detect the unique identity and the precise location of each feeder in each feeder slot.
