Radio Beacon Inc., a developer of warehouse management software for 3PLs, manufacturers and distributors, announced that its WMS software has been awarded the title of Best Warehouse Management System at the Moscow International Logistics Forum. Radio Beacon was singled out along with its Russian partner Pilot Corp., which has been working with Radio Beacon WMS in the Russian market since October 2002. The Moscow International Logistics Forum has become an annual meeting of experts in the fields of logistics, transportation, customs, insurance, warehousing, distribution, IT as well as company owners and CEOs. The forum is a showcase of Russian and international logistics technology.

Radio Beacon WMS was chosen as best WMS from among a large number of international WMS software packages during the recent event. The software was evaluated on the basis of its functionality, interoperability and Web-support as well as ease of deployment and ease of use. It was also selected as a standout product because of the benefits realized by customer Trade House Dekart. Since the June 2003 implementation of the WMS in the company's 7,000-square-meter distribution center, Trade House Dekart, one of Russia's largest distributors of paint materials and varnish, has seen significant efficiency and productivity improvements as well as order fulfillment accuracy increase to 99 percent.

Radio Beacon has been increasingly active in the Russian market, with a growing customer base among the country's manufacturers and distributors. The expansion into the Russian market is just one aspect of the company's international focus, which has seen its customer base grow in countries such as South Africa and Australia.
