Ann Arbor, MI and Houston, TX - Integrated Barcoding Systems (IBS), a solutions provider of data collection technology and services, announced it has established a strategic marketing partnership with Shipcom Wireless, Inc., a provider of enterprise mobility solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, IBS will market and sell Shipcom's CATAMARAN suite of mobility products to end users in North America.

Shipcom Wireless solutions enable users to quickly, easily, and cost-effectively deploy wireless extensions to enterprise applications like Siebel, SAP, and Oracle simultaneously. The company's flagship product, CATAMARAN, allows organizations to easily connect employees, customers and business partners to corporate databases for mission critical applications.

"We are excited about this new relationship", said Andy Jacobs, President and CEO of Integrated Barcode Systems. "The strategic partnership represents a great opportunity to provide cutting edge solutions to a rapidly expanding market place. The CATAMARAN software solution allows us to now target and penetrate markets like SAP, Oracle, Seibel, and mobile solutions. Because the software was designed for rapid development in any market, IBS is now able to deliver a totally integrated solution to all of our customers. It gives them the ability to integrate and connect with two solutions simultaneously, dramatically reducing their time of implementation."

CATAMARAN Enterprise Wireless Application Gateway enables corporate applications like SAP, ORACLE, Siebel and QAD to be accessed through dynamic business connectors on a wide array of mobile devices including Pocket PC, Windows CE, DOS and Palm.

"CATAMARAN has been developed with the future and rapid deployment in mind", said Abeezar Tyebji, President of Shipcom Wireless Inc. "It supports industry standard platforms such as XML, C++, cHTML, and HTML. This results in a very tight integration between itself and the corporate backend systems."

"IBS has a great awareness and market recognition as a leader in the AS/400 data collection arena and of the mobile workforce environment," continued Tyebji. "They have a superior reputation in the marketplace that they have been serving for thirteen years. The combination of our technology and IBS's marketing and distribution skills will be formidable."
