DANBURY, Conn. - Sealed Air now offers the Instapak Quick® RT Quick Start® Kit, allowing prospective customers to try several different sizes of Instapak Quick® RT (Room Temperature) foam packaging and discover the ways this packaging solution can benefit their businesses.

The Instapak Quick® RT Quick Start® Kit gives potential customers the chance to familiarize themselves with the product and its offerings by providing them with a user’s guide, instructional DVD, safety glasses and 15 Instapak Quick® RT bags in five different sizes ranging from 15 inches by 18 inches to 22 inches by 27 inches. The Instapak Quick® foam packaging solution is ideal for small to medium-volume packaging operations including Internet-based businesses, galleries, independent business owners, pack-and-ship stores, warranty repair depots, moving and storage facilities, retail shipping departments and mailrooms.

"Instapak Quick® RT is a simple packaging solution for many businesses,” said Tim McInerney, Sealed Air’s product manager for Instapak Quick® foam packaging. “We know that once people try it in their own packaging operations, they will realize how easy and affordable it is to create customized Instapak Quick® RT cushions.”

No Warmer Required with Instapak Quick® RT Cushions
Unlike traditional Instapak Quick® foam packaging, Instapak Quick® RT does not require a warmer, which dramatically increases the convenience of using the product. Since no system or warmer is required, the packaging can be activated at room temperature when and where it is needed without the burden of capital equipment and installation requirements associated with many packaging systems.

Instapak Quick® RT foam packaging consists of a bag containing two liquid components, that when combined, will expand up to 27 times their original volume. To create custom foam cushions, the bags are manually activated by mixing the two components until the foam starts to expand. The bag is then placed into the shipping container where it forms a custom-fit protective cushion around the product. The foam packaging reduces damage to items by providing superior cushioning, blocking and bracing, and void-fill protection.
