PORTLAND, OREGON – Knifing between rolls in trailers, container and rail cars can cause damage. Cascade Corporation’s new H-Series Paper Roll Clamps help reduce this costly situation. An optimized arm profile, with its contoured arm shape, allows lift truck drivers to maneuver around adjacent paper rolls with ease. In addition, a new stealth shaped contact pad provides an ultra thin leading edge to knife between rolls. Chamfered ends on the pads prevent damage to rolls during vertical movement of the roll clamp. Contact pads are always positioned in the “clamp ready” position by use of dual pad springs, which hold the pads in proper alignment with the arm – keeping contact pads at an optimum angle for handling rolls. The arm tip, which secures the pad, is constructed of a one piece, high-strength casting, providing the thinnest arm tip in the industry-facilitating improved knifing between rolls.

Our H-Series Paper Roll Clamp also features: Great visibility over the frame and through the arms so drivers can see where to place the roll. And it’s fast too; so drivers can work more efficiently. 20% faster open/close arm speed and good rotation speed; the new H-Series has the highest serviceability of any comparable clamp on the market.

Comments from Lift Truck Drivers who have taken the new Cascade H-Series for a ‘drive’ say they can go much deeper into the rolls and easily break out and tightly stack. Cascade is all about providing solutions, and the new Cascade H-Series Paper Roll Clamp does just that.
