Programmed to notify users when it’s time to maintain or replace system parts, the Web-based system has four modules: maintenance and inspection, part life expectancy, diagnostics and maintenance support.
The software uses a statistical method and experimental rules established in material handling to forecast the deterioration of parts and components. Users can view real-time information about operation cycles, hours in use and travel distances as well as access maintenance history logs.
