Crown Awards Its Branches and Dealers

NEW BREMEN, Ohio-There were 12 winners in this year’s awards recognition program conducted by Crown Equipment. Winners of the top prize, the James F. Dicke Pioneer Award, were Crown Lift Trucks of Dayton, Ohio; and NorthWest Handling Systems of Portland, Or.

The Annual Summit Awards honor Crown’s top manufacturer-owned branches and independent dealers for excellence in sales and customer satisfaction. This year’s winners were chosen from Crown’s nationwide network of more than 100 branches and dealers.

Crown senior vice president Jim Moran, observes, “This year’s winners excelled in a variety of categories, including overall sales growth, operational efficiency and, most importantly, outstanding customer service. The theme that unifies these winners is their ability to deliver value to customers above and beyond the value of our products.”

In addition to Dayton’s Crown Lift and Portland’s NorthWest Handling Systems, recognition as Summit Award Winners were Gregory Poole Equipment, Raleigh, N.C.; Crown Lift Trucks, Grand Rapids, Mich.; and NorthWest Handling Systems, Inc., Seattle, Wash.; And Action Lift, Inc., Pittson, Pa.

Additional recognition, Ascent Awards, went to six branches and dealers that performed well and continue to move toward Crown’s Summit Awards. They are Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling II, Inc., Phoenix, Ariz.; Crown Lift Trucks, Salt Lake City, Utah; Material Handling Supply, Brooklawn, N.J.; Crown Lift Trucks, Fort Wayne, Ind.; A.J. Jersey, Edison, N.J.; and Crown Lift Trucks, Pittsburgh, Pa.
