The bank presents the award to companies that encourage their employees to volunteer and contribute to their communities. Republic Bank created the designation to congratulate companies that stress four elements that make up the name of the award: Community, Activity Recognition and Enterprise.
The lift truck manufacturer was one of four finalists in the manufacturing category. Clark Material Handling supports, among other efforts, the American Cancer Society, Martin Luther King Unity program, Altrusa Mighty Mom Project, United Methodist Children’s Home, Habitat for Humanity and the American Diabetes Association’s annual walk. The bank presented the award in Lexington, Ky., where Clark bases its North American operations.
